Sri Lanka is known for its natural beauty, including lush rainforests, pristine beaches, and rolling hills, as well as its rich cultural heritage and history, including ancient temples and ruins. Some popular tourist destinations include the ancient city of Anuradhapura, the hill capital of Kandy, and the coastal city of Galle. The country also offers a variety of adventure activities such as whale and dolphin watching, surfing, and trekking. In recent years, Sri Lanka has seen a surge in popularity as a tourist destination, and the government has been working to promote and expand the country's tourism industry.

9.      Nuwara Eliya: a hill station known for its tea plantations, colonial architecture, and scenic beauty.

10.  Polonnaruwa: another ancient city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its well-preserved ruins, temples, and statues.

11.  Trincomalee: a port city on the east coast of Sri Lanka, known for its pristine beaches, colonial architecture, and historical significance.

12.  Mirissa: a small fishing village on the south coast, known for its whale watching opportunities, surf breaks, and beautiful beaches.

13.  Jaffna: a city in the north of Sri Lanka, with a rich cultural heritage, including Hindu temples and colonial-era buildings.
